Yes! Creating an account and browsing games is completely free. You only pay when you join a match, book a field, or register for a tournament. Captains and field partners may have different fee structures - check our Partners page for details.

Currently, Baab Sport primarily focuses on soccer/football, including indoor soccer, futsal, and outdoor formats. We're actively expanding to support basketball, volleyball, tennis, and other team sports. Stay tuned for updates!

When you find a game you like, tap 'Join' and complete the payment for your share. Once confirmed, you'll receive all the details and be added to the match chat.

Our algorithm considers your skill rating, preferred position, playing style, and availability to suggest suitable matches. After each game, players can rate each other, which helps improve future match recommendations and ensures balanced, enjoyable games for everyone.

Your skill rating (1-5 stars) is calculated from peer reviews after matches. Players rate each other on technical ability, teamwork, and sportsmanship. New players start with a provisional rating that stabilizes after 5-10 games. This system helps create balanced matches.

Yes! You can view the roster of confirmed players for any match, including their skill ratings, positions, and brief profiles. This helps you make informed decisions about joining games that match your skill level and preferences.

We understand things come up. If you need to leave early, please notify the captain as soon as possible through the match chat. While occasional early departures happen, consistently leaving matches early may affect your player reputation and future match eligibility.

Use the 'Invite Friends' feature in your profile to share Baab Sport with contacts. When joining or creating a match, you can also send direct invites to friends already on the platform. Friends you invite who sign up earn you both Baab Credits!

Bring appropriate footwear (cleats for grass, indoor shoes for turf), shin guards, and water. Some facilities provide balls and pinnies, but check the match details. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to warm up and meet your teammates.

A Captain is a player who organizes matches. Captains select the field, set the date/time, determine the price split, and manage the roster. They're responsible for ensuring the match runs smoothly, communicating with players, and handling any on-field issues. Captains may receive benefits like reduced fees or priority booking.

Any verified player can create a match and become its Captain. To maintain Captain status and unlock premium features, maintain a good rating, host matches regularly, and demonstrate reliability. Experienced Captains may be invited to our Captain+ program with additional perks.

Tap the '+' button on the home screen and select 'Create Match.' Choose a field from available options, select date and time, set the number of players and price per person, then confirm your booking. You'll pay a captain's share (often discounted) to secure the field.

If minimum player requirements aren't met 24 hours before the match, you'll have options: extend the deadline, reduce the minimum players, invite more players, or cancel with a full refund. We'll send you notifications as the deadline approaches.

Yes! When creating a match, you can set minimum and maximum skill ratings, preferred positions needed, and other requirements. This helps attract the right players and ensures competitive, balanced games.

Go to 'My Teams' to create or manage teams. You can add players by username or invite link, assign positions, set team tactics, and track team statistics. Team members get priority notifications for your matches.

As Captain, you pay your share upfront to secure the booking. If the match fills, you play at the captain's rate (often free or discounted). If the match is cancelled due to low turnout within the allowed window, you receive a full refund. For last-minute cancellations, different policies apply.

You set your own hourly rates for different field types and time slots. Baab Sport charges a small commission on bookings made through our platform. You receive payments weekly via direct deposit, with detailed transaction reports.

Yes! Our partner dashboard lets you update availability instantly, block dates for maintenance or private events, set different pricing for peak/off-peak hours, and manage multiple fields from one interface.

No special equipment is required. You just need to provide accurate information about your facilities (field dimensions, surface type, amenities) and maintain availability in our system. Optional: tablet for check-ins, digital displays for match info.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. You can securely save multiple payment methods in your account. All transactions are processed through Stripe with bank-level security.

The total field cost is divided among all players, plus a small service fee. Captains often receive a discount or play free as an incentive for organizing. The exact split is shown before you join any match, so there are no surprises.

Baab Credits are our in-app currency that can be used for match payments, tournament registration, and other services. You earn credits through referrals, promotions, and refunds. Credits are automatically applied to eligible purchases and never expire.

Go to Profile > Wallet > Add Funds. Select an amount and payment method. Funds are available instantly. Your wallet balance is used automatically when making payments, or you can choose to pay directly with a card.

Yes. We use Stripe for payment processing, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified - the highest level of security. We never store your full card number on our servers. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Navigate to Profile > Wallet > Transaction History to see all payments, refunds, and credit transactions. You can filter by date range and transaction type. Receipts are available for download for expense tracking.

If a payment fails, you'll receive a notification with the reason (insufficient funds, expired card, etc.). Your spot in the match will be held for a short period while you update your payment method. If not resolved, your spot may be released to other players.

Players can cancel up to 24 hours before a match for a full refund. Cancellations 12-24 hours before receive a 50% refund or full Baab Credits. Cancellations less than 12 hours before are non-refundable unless a replacement player is found. No-shows may affect your player rating.

Go to 'My Matches,' select the match, and tap 'Cancel Participation.' Confirm your cancellation and the applicable refund will be processed according to our policy. Consider finding a replacement through the match chat to ensure a full refund.

If a Captain cancels, all players receive full refunds automatically, regardless of timing. We understand emergencies happen, but Captains who frequently cancel may have their Captain privileges reviewed.

Weather-related cancellations are handled by the field facility. If the facility closes due to weather, all players receive full refunds. For outdoor facilities, the Captain may decide to proceed or cancel based on conditions - cancelled matches are fully refunded.

Captains can reschedule matches through the app, subject to field availability. Players will be notified and can confirm or opt-out of the new time. If you opt out of a rescheduled match, standard cancellation policies apply based on the new date.

Refunds to Baab Credits are instant. Refunds to credit/debit cards typically appear within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank. If you don't see your refund after 7 business days, contact support with your transaction details.

If field conditions don't match the listing (unsafe surface, missing equipment, etc.), report the issue immediately through the app. Our support team will investigate and may issue full or partial refunds. Take photos to support your report.

Tournaments are organized competitions with multiple teams competing over single or multiple days. Register your team, pay the entry fee split among team members, and compete for prizes and glory! Formats include league play, group stages with playoffs, and knockout brackets.

The team Captain registers through the Tournaments tab. Select a tournament, review the rules and fee, then confirm registration. Team members will be prompted to pay their share. Registration is complete once all required payments are received.

Some tournaments offer 'free agent' registration where individual players can sign up to be placed on teams. Check the tournament details for this option. It's a great way to meet players and potentially form new teams!

Withdrawal policies vary by tournament. Generally, withdrawals before the registration deadline receive full refunds. Later withdrawals may forfeit some or all of the entry fee. Check the specific tournament rules before registering.

Tournament organizers update results after each match. Standings, brackets, and statistics are available in real-time through the tournament page. You'll receive notifications for upcoming matches and results.

Prizes vary by tournament and may include cash prizes, Baab Credits, merchandise, free future tournament entries, or trophies. Prize details are listed on each tournament's information page.

Go to Profile > Edit Profile to update your name, photo, location, preferred position, skill information, and other details. Some changes (like phone number) may require re-verification.

Yes. Go to Profile > Settings > Phone Number. You'll need to verify the new number via SMS code. Your account history and wallet balance will transfer to the new number.

Go to Profile > Settings > Linked Accounts. Tap 'Link' next to Google or Apple and follow the authentication flow. Linked accounts provide additional login options and account recovery methods.

Account deletion removes your personal information from our active systems within 30 days. Some anonymized data may be retained for legal/analytical purposes. Any remaining Baab Credits will be forfeited. This action is irreversible.

On the user's profile, tap the menu (three dots) and select 'Report.' Choose the reason and provide details. All reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. Serious violations may result in immediate account suspension.

Yes. On their profile, tap the menu and select 'Block.' Blocked users cannot contact you, see your full profile, or join matches you create. You also won't be matched with blocked users.

Go to Profile > Settings > Notifications to customize which alerts you receive. Options include match reminders, chat messages, promotional offers, and more. We recommend keeping essential notifications on to avoid missing matches.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users aged 13-17 may need parental consent depending on local laws. We comply with COPPA and other child privacy regulations.
